News for February 27, 2024
This Sunday, Mar 3: In-person service at 10am
Our guest preacher on Sunday will be our own Roy Gesley, with a 2-part sermon on the story of blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52). Part 1 will be on Zoom, this Wednesday 2/28 at 7 pm. It will be recorded and posted on the website, in case you have a conflict with the time. Part 2 will be on Sunday morning as usual. We will also celebrate communion on Sunday.
Worship & Arts will meet after the Sunday service.
The Giving Sunday offering for March is for Stefan Waligur's Community of Peace in Louisa, Virginia. They've made so much progress in the last few years, welcoming residential members and hosting many temporary visitors, refurbishing buildings on their property, adding a labyrinth and chickens and so forth. We regularly sing a number of chants written by Br. Stefan and this is our way of saying thank you.
